Queensland Individual Schools Championships

This competition has been developed to introduce school children to the environment of competitive fencing. The manor in which this is done is relaxed and each child's effort is rewarded regardless of placing. This is to help the students maintain the skills they have achieved while they focus on developing an understanding of competition process and game play. Parents are encouraged to stay and support their children.

Held at the end of each school term the competition is ideal for the students that have just finished their Learn to fence program and would like to test their skills against fencers from other schools.

A high standard of competition is maintained and after the 4th round each year both the schools and individual students are awarded trophies to commemorate their success.

All QLD school students are eligible to participate and fencers are divided by age and level of skill.

The entry details and results from previous rounds are available.
