Chevaliers

Fencing is very much an individual sport and as such each athlete has their own goals and needs. By having more coaches available to work individually with athletes, rather than in classes, we try to better accommodate these needs and goals.

Our coaches are all NCAS accredited and include past national champions and international representatives with all of the experience needed to assist the fencer achieve their competitive goals.

Session 1

Tuesday 7.30pm until 10.30pm
Cost
Casual Fencing $10
Fencing and lesson $15

All fencers start with a 30 minute warm up that includes basic stretching and fundamental fencing skills. This helps to prepare the fencer for the evenings activity both physically and mentally.

After the warm up the fencer can choose to fence or take individual instruction with one of our experienced coaches.

Beginners
Because the instruction is done individually there is no need to wait for the start of a term or class. Once you have made the decision to start, now is the time. There is no age limit that determines when you can start; many fencers continue to enjoy the sport well into retirement. Success is not only achieved though strength and speed but through mental agility also. Fencing is a great way to provide recreational stimulation.

Recreational
Recreational fencing is ideal for those that are out to enjoy a night's activity whilst learning the skills of a new and challenging sport. Fencing is both physically and mentally stimulating and the level of activity is as relaxed or intense as you would like it to be.
